The Gerry Martin Project (TGMP) strives to make conservation and research possible through education and diverse sustainable avenues. Much of its work involves bridging the gap between scientists or field workers and others who are interested and have not had the avenue to get involved before.
This year, TGMP is also setting up a substantial volunteer program which will bring in enthused and focussed man power and resources while offering volunteers a chance to work on something purposeful and potentially, publishable.
There are numerous project options at two locations. Aside from the conservation and research work, you will work on maintaining the stations, educating visitors and groups, assisting in workshops and a host of other activities. Your days will be full!
